The Beneventano della Corte Family

For several years the Beneventano family has been connected to the world of wine. Through passion and respect for this world, they have decided to specialise in the selection and marketing of high-quality wines. Customer satisfaction is, indeed, their greatest reward.

Roberto Beneventano della Corte

Managing Director

Graduated in Economics and Commerce from Bocconi University in Milan, after a brief period at the university as an assistant, he became Marketing and Commercial Director at a major wine and spirits import and distribution company. He was then hired by the multinational Seagram, where for 10 years he served as General Manager for Italy for three major Champagne houses. In 1997 he founded two companies: one in consulting and the other in wine import and distribution, with a particular focus on Champagne.

As part of his professional activity, he conceived and organised 15 editions of the event “Les Etoiles de la Gastronomie”, which brought together all Michelin-starred restaurants. In recognition of his expertise in Champagne, he was awarded the Ordre du Merite Agricole in January 1992 by the French Minister of Agriculture – a special honour of the French Republic conferred on those who have played an important role in the development of the French agricultural economy.

Pierluca Beneventano della Corte

Graduated in Business Marketing, he was honoured as Chevalier of the Ordre des Coteaux de Champagne for his thesis on the statistical analysis of the evolution and consumption of Champagne in Italy. He became an AIS Sommelier and gained experience by attending courses, tastings and participating in several harvests.

Hired by Steinbrück Italia, he performs a variety of functions: selector sommelier and consumer assistance, administrative management of suppliers, Digital Marketing Manager, commercial analysis, and representation at tastings and events.

With the recent acquisition of land on Mount Etna by the Beneventano family, he attended an ICV course on the sensory analysis of grapes and a course certifying a European professional qualification as Agricultural Company Manager, expanding his knowledge to help develop the Beneventano Agricultural Company project.
